Sequim is the Lavender Capital of North America. The celebrations are in July of each year, but here’s a clip from last year’s events, and you’ll want to plan to be here if possible. Dr. Lavender shares his expertise on growing and loving Lavender in this video. It’s always an exciting weekend of activities for Lavender lovers and everyone who loves outdoor markets, crafts, specialty items, great food and great music. Thousands of people travel to Sequim from around the country literally. One of the highlights of the weekend is a tour you can take of area Lavender farms, and there are quite a few in the Sequim Dungeness Valley. It’s a big event for Sequim.
