Sequim crime rates are extremely low, and those of us who have lived in Sequim for decades know this. It’s not easy to prove, because the Internet websites that purport to compare Sequim crime rates with other cities do not have accurate data. I went to the Sequim police department and asked if our Sequim crime stats are posted anywhere on the Internet, and the answer was that they are not. Where are the Sequim crime rates? They are on paper files in the police department, and not compiled and posted anywhere on the Internet. Don’t believe the Internet on Sequim crime rates.
