I’m thankful for many things, and I count my blessings almost daily. I am so thankful to have raised my children in Sequim, to have had my law practice downtown Sequim, to have my real estate brokerage in a place where so many incredible people come to buy homes and live the remainder of their days in the fulness of all that life on the Olympic Peninsula offers.
One of my best friends just sent me this photo of his twin grandchildren, and it touched my heart. What a beautiful image of the best of this life, two gorgeous newborn babies, gifts from God, and a pleasant reminder of hope and the promise of the future.
Pretty much all of my clients who are moving to Sequim have children who are grown up and living around the country in different places. About 98% of my clients are moving to Sequim and buying their retirement home. Most expect it will be their last home, and for many it will be. Sequim grows on you. Most retirees moving to Sequim have grandchildren now, sometimes close by, like in the Seattle area, but others tell me their grandchildren are far away on the east coast or in Alaska.
I hope this photo is a pleasant reminder for you. If you have something you are especially thankful for, please consider sharing it in a comment here.
