We are living in a crazy world right now, and that won’t take much convincing to almost anyone living on the planet. This is a real estate blog, so we are all about the business of buying and selling single family homes. But like you, we are not immune to all the political, economic, climatic, and health issues that have set this crazy world on an uncertain journey.

People have traveled less since the virus, and people have put many decisions on hold until we get past this pandemic and past the economic crisis that closed millions of businesses across the U.S. Buying and selling real estate is one industry, among many, that has been impacted by all the events in this crazy world.
While the timing is uncertain, I think all of us are expecting that things will settle down soon, and buyers will come to Sequim to buy their retirement homes in larger numbers once again. If you are in a position to buy now, you would be in a very strong bargaining position, especially if you are a cash buyer. There have been fewer buyers of late, and that has made it hard for motivated sellers to get on with their lives.
