This book is the culmination of a lifetime in real estate, and I do mean a lifetime. I started in real estate sales in the mid-1970s in Alaska, then went to law school at Gonzaga, and practiced real estate law for 20 years. Like so many others, I fell in love with Sequim and the Olympic Peninsula, and after 23 years I’m still here with no plans to leave. A decade ago I opened my own real estate brokerage, and since then I’ve been helping buyers from all over the United States learn about Sequim and buy their ideal retirement homes in Sequim and the surrounding communities. If I were indicted for being a buyer’s agent with a passion to help buyers find their dream homes and get safely to closing (after the proper due diligence), there would be plenty of evidence to convict me:
