This whole idea of the Sequim rain shadow or the Sequim blue hole really had me wondering for a long time, but then believe it or not when we drove to Sequim on the first time, it was raining until we got to the east end of Sequim, and suddenly the rain stopped. The sun wasn’t out, but there was a wall where the rain literally stopped. God we cracked up. It was too surreal. So my personal testimony is that there really really is a hole in the sky above Sequim.
