Are Sequim homes selling? That’s a big yes, and Port Angeles homes are selling, too. I’ve compiled statistical data on all Sequim homes sold (and Port Angeles) for the past three months. This includes sales in the Olympic Listing Service, the Northwest MLS, and even those that are FSBOs (for sale by owners) and not in the MLSs. So this is a comprehensive database of homes sold in three zip codes covering Sequim and Port Angeles areas. For your viewing pleasure I’ve put all this data into three maps by price range.
Sequim Homes Sold Geographically
I recommend that you open the three maps by clicking on the above image, and if you can open a new window and move it to the right while you read this, you can follow how I interpret these Sequim homes sold as represented on these maps.
Sequim Homes Are Selling Well
Notice the geographic distribution of Sequim homes sold. (And Port Angeles homes sold, but for simplicity’s sake, I’ll just refer to Sequim homes sold.) There are more Sequim homes sold than Port Angeles homes sold on all three maps, and that is especially true for the upper price range. The preference is homes that have gorgeous water views, either at or near a bluff or beach, or higher in the mountains where the panoramic water view is also incredible. I recently sold a home on a high bluff with a stunning water view on East Sequim Bay, another home high in elevation but with a gorgeous panoramic water view above Sequim Bay, and a third home right on the beach on Three Crabs Road. These homes and water views are in high demand, but are also at the upper price range of all Sequim homes sold.
