What does a Master Gardener do to create a landscaped yard worthy of Fine Gardening Magazine?  Many things, but click on the photo above to go directly to photographer Ann Stratton’s image with designated zones showing what is planted and where it is planted.  [See Fine Gardening Magazine landscape plan.]  I can personally testify that seeing what Donna has planted and nurtured is a wonderful experience.  Learning the names of the plants can be challenging, at least for amateurs:  Russian Sage, Gilt Edge Silverberry, Victoria California Lilac, Autumn Joy Stonecrop, Foxtail Lily, Complicata Rose, Mediterranean Spurge, and Skyrocket Juniper.
