Sequim WA has had to deal with the same challenge the rest of the country has had–the Covid-19 virus. It’s been tragic for those in NY and Seattle and around the country who have suffered from this virus and lost loved ones, but it’s also been no small challenge for the rest of us who shut down businesses and stayed in our own homes for weeks on end. It doesn’t take a business expert to know that many businesses will not come back after all the economic dust settles.
Limiting human contact, social distancing, and all that comes with a worldwide pandemic is new for this generation. I’ve tried to stay calm, do what needs to be done, and find contentment and peace in the blessings that I do have. With that in mind, here’s a 30 second view from the chair in my backyard, taken while I sipped on a delicious hot cup of Starbucks with two tablespoons of Heavy Whipping Cream. Can you hear the birds singing in this video? If I have to be anywhere during a pandemic or a lockdown, I thank God it is Sequim. Sometimes I think I’ve died and gone to Heaven, even when Sequim has to deal with the Covid-19 crisis.
I still am showing homes, and have two pending transactions now, so if you’re planning to retire in Sequim and find your dream home, you can reach me by cell phone, 360-775-5424, by text, or by email at ChuckMarunde@gmail.com. You might enjoy the Sequim Buyer Video link at the end of this video, which takes you to SequimVideos.com.
Call anytime if you have questions about the area or homes. I’m easy to talk to, and I have more online resources for buyers than any other Sequim broker by an order of magnitude. You might also enjoy some of the Sequim real estate books I wrote for buyers like you. Meanwhile, I hope you’re safe and comfortable.
