We’re in the middle of winter now, and for Sequim that means it’s been about 50 degrees F in the middle of most days. Today was a gorgeous sunny day, and it was quite pleasant for a walk with your dog. My dog loves to survey his kingdom of 2.58 acres, and he also eats an apple a day by finding the apples that have fallen out of my apple trees. He has no idea how good he has it. I do. I love Sequim, and I love our climate.
Strange things have been happening to the weather around the world, and across the United States bizarre weather patterns have created problems from hot and cold extremes as well as record setting storms and floods. But just like Sequim has a real blue hole or rain shadow and only gets 16 inches of rain per year, much of the country is seeing new cold fronts moving in, including Seattle.
Come and visit us, even if it is December or January. It’s actually an excellent time to see the area when there are no leaves on the trees, and it is the “ugliest” time of year. You’ll know it just gets better after the few short months of winter in Sequim. Honestly, it’s still beautiful here, and it’s a wonderful place to live. Plan ahead and schedule some time to look at homes and tour the area with me. I’d love to show you around.

“Does it snow in Sequim?”
