What would you call the best years of your life? Was it an idyllic childhood in peaceful times? Or was it when you were young and in college and life was full of promise? Perhaps you would say it was when you were in your twenties when you were an outstanding athlete? Or would you say it was when your own children were young and life was in full swing? Or was your career the centerpiece of your life?
Define The Best Years of Your Life
Why not make the next 15 to 20 years of your life the best years of your life? If you’re seriously thinking about retiring in Sequim, Washington, you are probably in your 50’s or in your ’60’s, and you are certainly thinking about the quality of your life for the next couple of decades and beyond. I don’t doubt you have some great memories of times past, but my question to you is, “Why not make the next 15 to 20 years the best years of your life?” You can do that in Sequim, and I have a strong conviction that if you plan and intend to do that, you can.
Physically, we can’t compete with the health and energy of our youth, but at some time in our personal growth most of us realize that life is not about things or power or money or even our own glory. Life is about relationships, and it is positive relationships with those we love that makes life so rich. For many of my clients moving to Sequim, once they have their financial retirement in order, once they find the ideal home in the ideal location, and once they settle into the social and recreational activities they love and begin making new friends in Sequim, life is rich.
Living in Sequim – The Best Years of Your Life
I regularly say to myself, “Another day in Paradise,” because living in Sequim when you have a healthy perspective on what is important in life really is like living in Paradise. Sequim is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and the people are some of the friendliest. Children and grandchildren are never further than a short flight from SeaTac. I’m a firm believer in making a plan and then making that plan come to life. I hope you make your plan, and make the next 15 to 20 years the best years of your life in Sequim.
